Join The Doe Fund on our mission to break the cycles of homelessness, addiction, and criminal recidivism by providing holistic services, housing and work opportunities to the under-served populations including the formerly homeless and incarcerated, disconnected youth, veterans, and people living with AIDS. Our flagship transitional work program-- Ready, Willing & Able-- integrates paid work, occupational training, and holistic supportive services to facilitate an individual’s return to mainstream society. Our portfolio of permanent affordable and supportive housing provides housing stability and additional supports to low-income New Yorkers. The Doe Fund has an annual operating budget of $76 million and a full-time staff of 500 , many of whom are graduates of our programs.
The Doe Fund is in search of a Vice President of Housing Placement Services (VP of HPS). This is a newly created position and the organization is looking for an experienced leader who is innovative and a team builder. The ideal candidate should also be a team player that can work well with and in collaboration with other departments. The VP of HPS will have direct oversight of the organizational housing placement services and all its staff. The VP of HPS will report to the Senior Vice President of Programs.
The VP of HPS will have wide latitude for decision making that aligns with The Doe Fund’s mission and goals in managing the day-to-day operations of the organization’s housing placement services.
Before you go, we want to assure you that we are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace reflective of individuals who share our mission and who want to join us in working on the cutting-edge of important social issues.
