Job SummaryAs the Vice President of Housing, you will spearhead the development, implementation, and administration of a range of housing programs including emergency shelters, transitional and permanent supportive housing, as well as housing subsidy and rent assistance programs. Working closely with Program Directors and team members, you will ensure that our programs align with the evolving needs of our community. Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Development:
Collaborate with program directors to establish comprehensive scopes of work, program deliverables, and performance expectations.
Identify service needs and gaps to introduce onsite and off-site services for program participants.
Work with the Director of Development to secure funding for new initiatives by responding to procurement opportunities.
Program Administration
Monitor housing programs to ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
Design and implement service modalities and program models to effectively support program residents.
Track program performance and productivity while enforcing incident reporting protocols.
Site Management
Maintain appropriate staffing levels in accordance with regulatory requirements, collaborating with HR on recruitment efforts.
Ensure staff and residents are well-versed in safety and evacuation plans.
Supervise facility maintenance and prepare for audits and oversight agency visits.
Supervision
Provide direct supervision to Program Directors, offering regular support and guidance.
Oversee the professional development and training needs of housing staff in collaboration with HR and Finance.
Qualifications
Master's degree in social work, public administration, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
Eight years of experience in working with homeless and low-income populations, housing, or program development.
Proficiency in communication, MS Office, and related software.
Valid driver's license required; LMSW preferred.
