Job Title: Assistant Program Director, The Center for Wellness & Change
Department: The Center for Wellness and Change (OASAS)
Educational Requirements: M.S.W. or MHC (LCSW or LMHC preferred)
Experience: Work with populations impacted by substance use required; Mental health and group experience preferred; excellent English language skills, both verbal and written; preferred knowledge of AWARDS and the internet; willingness to learn and participate in co-occurring disorder and harm reduction training. 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
Scope of Position: Under the direction of the Program Director, and within the guidelines of all applicable laws, rules, regulations and Agency code of ethics and policies and procedures, the Assistant Director of Substance Use Services will support Program Director in supervision as being a task supervisor for peers and support staff as well as interns.
