Description
The Bernstein Companies is an award winning diversified Real Estate Investment, Development and Management firm. We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Community Manager to join us at our Textile apartment building located in historic downtown Cincinnati, minutes away from Paycor Stadium. The Assistant Manager is an important part of our property team and is a key part of the community's success. Comprehensive Benefit Package including 401k with 20% employer match and eligibility for our competitive Leasing Bonus Program.
Supports and assists the Community Manager in overseeing and managing the financial and operational facets of the community by completing accounting and bookkeeping tasks, preparing monthly close-out and financial reports, processing invoices for payment, collecting rent, fees, and other payments, completing bank deposits, dispositions, and account reconciliations, and using the property management software to record, track, and report on all financial workings of the community.

· Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite to include MS Excel required
YARDI knowledge preferred
· Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service & successfully work as part of a team
· Ability to clearly communicate & understand directives both orally and in writing
· Possess superior interpersonal skills; ability to get along with diverse personalities; tactful; mature, flexible
· Professional in presentation, demeanor & communication
· Strong abilities in organization & resourcefulness.
· BA/BS in business, sales or related field, relevant experience or a combination preferred
· Strong collections experience and Accounting/Bookkeeping skills required
· Onesite/Rent Roll experience preferred
· 1-3 years property management industry experience preferred
· Previous supervisory & leasing experience preferred
