Apply today!Responsibilities & QualificationsIn this role, you will:Oversee the timely and accurate delivery of operational activities that supports field underwriting.Collaborate with underwriting stakeholders to align operational support objectives with production, profitability, and quality expectations.Analyze and prepare productivity metric reports for management on operational performance.Serve as the subject matter expert on operational activities and capabilities by forecasting and advancing service needs, implementing process and procedure improvements, and maintaining technology system requirements.Gather customer feedback and identify ways to ensure quality services are being provided.Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.Manage department operations by establishing strategies and objectives, contributing to divisional goals and budgets, advising on operational and financial matters, and implementing customer service plans within the division.Support people operations by recruiting, retaining, and mentoring employees.Set performance expectations by providing continuous feedback.What You'll Bring:A bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training, or experience.At least 7 years of relevant work experience centered around underwriting operation or equivalent education, training, or experience.At least 2 years of experience in leading and managing other people.Who You Are:Innovative in evaluating our current processes and recommending and implementing process improvements.Work comfortably in a fast-paced environment while leading and developing staff to achieve departmental goals.Build partnerships of trust and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.Actively learning through experimentation, using both successes and failures as learning opportunities.Flex-Hybrid Work Environment:Texas Mutual's flex-hybrid schedule allows you to bring your best self to work by working remotely and collaborating in the office based on business needs.
