As a pioneer in virtual reality gaming systems, Virtuix Inc. continues to break ground with cutting-edge VR technologies. Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Austin, Virtuix is the developer of “Omni,” the first omni-directional treadmill that enables players to walk and run in 360 degrees inside video games and other virtual worlds. We’ve created two entertainment products that have become global hits: Omni Pro, the commercial version of the Omni, and Omni Arena, a multiplayer version for entertainment centers like Dave and Buster’s. Thanks to the Omni’s popularity at hundreds of venues, we’ve built a large and devoted player community.
In response to demand from Omni fans, we’re now releasing “Omni One,” a consumer version of the Omni that’s optimized for home use – light, easy to store, and offering unrestricted freedom of movement, including crouching, kneeling, and jumping. Omni One is more than an advanced hardware system, it’s a complete gaming platform. Its online game store sells games developed by Virtuix and top titles licensed from third parties.

The thrill of walking around inside video games has blown the minds of players at our commercial venues. We plan to take our success in commercial entertainment and scale it into the home. As our Technical Support Manager, you’ll join our mission to launch Omni One and bring our popular gaming experience to millions of homes around the world.
We’re seeking a Technical Support Manager to lead the customer service team at our Austin headquarters. Currently, this team primarily supports entertainment venues operating Omni Arena. As we ramp up sales of Omni One in 2024, the team will increasingly support home users of Omni One.
The Technical Support Manager reports to the Operations Director and will also work closely with Virtuix’s CEO. This is a hands-on role that combines front-line customer interaction with supervising the overall team. The work location is Virtuix’s office (not remote).
At Virtuix, you’ll join a talented team that is delivering a new wave of immersive entertainment that centers on active, physical gameplay and esports. You’ll have a unique chance to influence the entertainment industry and become part of our story as a venture-funded tech startup.
Moving around virtual worlds by pushing buttons on a controller feels unnatural and static. To experience true VR, you need to walk around virtual worlds as you do in real life – using your own feet. That’s why we developed “Omni.”
Backed by over $40MM from investors, including Mark Cuban and 12 venture capital funds, Virtuix’s Omni takes VR to the next level. The system was even portrayed in Steven Spielberg’s Ready Player One.
