ROLE:
The Business Development Manger is responsible to generate leads & follow up on sales leads to set up appointments and help keep prospects moving forward through the sales process. You will work primarily through phone calls and in person networking, but also through email and SMS. You will be responsible for sales appointments, communicating with our leadership team and starting/maintaining long-term relationships with our clients and partners. You will find and connect with leads, and show up to scheduled appointments in person, via zoom, or over the phone. You will schedule follow up appointments and nurture prospects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research & attend in person networking events to make connections with our target audience
- Attend daily sales huddles & submit end of day sales reports
- Consistently be on top of all follow up tasks in CRM
- Work through the sales process and close deals
-Work independently and must be able to work under pressure
- Build strong client relationships
- Listen to clients' needs & provide solutions
- Meet or exceed company sales targets
- Identify, generate, & call through sales leads
- Follow up on no-shows to get them rescheduled
- Follow up on existing prospects to ensure they are scheduled for their next call & are moving through the pipeline
- Cold calling prospects to identify those that might be a good fit & book appointments to talk with them - Data entry of leads into the CRM & keeping the CRM organized
RESULTS:
-target 1st year compensation $65,000 to $100,000.
- 8 to 10 doors added monthly (minimum)
- You will be expected to generate 50 connections per month through organic & outbound marketing methods such as: utilizing Facebook groups, in person real estate meet ups, and cold calling lists, making connections with referral partners (real estate agents, insurance agents, mortgage brokers, etc), following up with past leads, following up with inbound leads
- New clients are an excellent, long-term fit & have a high retention rate
- CRM Inbox is kept up to date & all leads are followed up on promptly
- Communicate regularly with manager
- Daily reporting of metrics
- Healthy amount of sales appointments filling your calendar
REQUIREMENTS:
- Good internet connection, webcam & good microphone/headset, and a quiet background (no noise, pets, or children)
- Well dressed & groomed professionally
- Loves connecting with people
- Previous experience & training in sales or appointment setting
- Real Estate or Property Management experience is preferred but not required.
- Willingness to obtain a real estate sales license if needed.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates the ability to negotiate effectively
- Ability to build solid customer relationships
- Have a strong drive for success & results
