TETER's HR Manager is a champion to 130 employees, partner to multiple business units, and manager to the HR Team. They are committed to the professional development and wellbeing of TETER's staff, as well as the growth and success of the firm. The HR Manager must think like an owner, demonstrating TETER's core values every day, being self-motivated, proactive, adaptable, and able to juggle multiple priorities effectively.

What you'll do:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department and its many functions including talent management, staff relations and culture, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, and safety and compliance.
  • Manage a 5-person team comprised of 2.5 HR staff and 2.5 office support staff, delegating projects and tasks to ensure timely and efficient execution of HR duties.
  • Collaborate with firm leaders to develop and manage a variety of HR projects, meeting goals for effectiveness, staff adoption, budget, and timeliness.
  • Develop relationships with staff and management, supporting staff throughout the full employment lifecycle and serving as a trusted resource for staff and management.
  • Manages full-cycle recruiting including advertising, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, reference checks, offers, and negotiations.

What you bring to the firm:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and 7-10 years of experience in a Human Resources position; Additional experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience as a supervisor including managing workload.
  • Experience in architecture, engineering, construction and/or related field a plus.
  • Knowledge in all areas of HR and humility to know when outside resources are needed.
  • Proven ability to exercise good judgment and strict confidentiality in all matters.
  • Ability to lead, direct, collaborate with, and/or delegate to team members.
  • Ability to manage multiple HR-related projects simultaneously, prioritize accordingly, and shift priorities at the last minute.
  • Ability to effectively handle stress, work with a variety of personalities, and manage difficult situations.
  • Positive, customer service focus while demonstrating patience and understanding.
  • Well-versed in business software including Microsoft Office, SharePoint sites, Adobe Acrobat, HR information systems and ERP systems.
