This is a full time, temp-to-permanent opportunity with a starting pay of $24-30 depending on experience.
Job duties:
- Manage employee relations issues effectively, including handling write-ups and disciplinary actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with managers to conduct regular performance reviews and provide guidance on performance improvement plans.
- Develop and revise HR policies and procedures in accordance with legal regulations and company objectives.
- Stay updated on California laws and ensure compliance with state regulations regarding employee rights and leaves of absence.
- Facilitate leave requests and maintain accurate records in compliance with relevant laws and company policies.
- Learn and understand basic accounting principles to support financial processes as needed.
- At least 4 years of Human Resources experience
- Knowledge of California employment laws and regulations, particularly regarding leave facilitation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
