We are seeking a dynamic Talent Development Manager to join our team and spearhead initiatives that will shape the future of our workforce. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our team not only meets but exceeds industry standards in skill, safety, and leadership.

Duties and responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive training programs tailored to various roles within our organization, including:

• Basics 101, 102, 103: Foundation courses designed to equip new hires with essential industry knowledge.
• Foreman and Operator Training: Specialized programs for roles such as HDD Operator, Backhoe Operator, Vac Truck Operator, and Saw Cut Technician, ensuring our team is proficient in the latest techniques and technologies.
• Mechanic and Welder Development: Advanced training for our mechanical and welding teams to foster innovation and excellence in their fields.
• Superintendent and Leadership Training: Programs designed to cultivate leadership skills and strategic thinking among our supervisory and management teams.
• Recruitment: Proactively recruit and onboard top-tier talent, ensuring our team is equipped with the skills and expertise needed for our industry-leading projects.
• Safety and Inspections: Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to maintain the highest standards of workplace safety, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key Performance Indicators:

• Recruitment Efficiency: Ensure all hiring needs are proactively addressed, recruiting talent ahead of demand to keep our projects on schedule and within budget.
• Training Milestones: Deliver at least six training programs annually for employees with less than 12 months of service, and three for those with more experience, enhancing the skillset and adaptability of our workforce.
• Safety Compliance: Maintain impeccable records and conduct timely, accurate investigations and reporting of all incidents and accidents, upholding our commitment to a safe and secure working environment.

Skills:

• Proven experience in talent management and developing training programs.
• Proficiency in curriculum development and program design.
• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to engage learners in a classroom setting.
• Experience in employee evaluation and data collection to measure training effectiveness.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
