- Single Point of Contact: Acts as the primary liaison with the customer after the sale.
- Relationship Building: Establishes and maintains relationships with customers and other project-related suppliers.
- Project Overview and Implementation: Provides an overview of the project and ensures system interface implementation within the project scope.
- Project Schedule Management: Collaborates with senior management to establish a realistic project schedule and monitors compliance with defined project objectives and management processes.
- Project Milestone Schedule: Develops a milestone schedule with a strategy for schedule compression.
- Communication Hub: Serves as the single point of contact with management, coordinating communication across functional areas and other TechnipFMC product areas involved in the project.
- Status Communication: Ensures effective communication of project status and progress to the TechnipFMC Project Team and the customer.
- Budget Management: Develops and communicates the project budget, approves expenditures, and manages costs to meet budget commitments.
- Resource Allocation: Ensures adequate resources are applied to the project.
- Risk Management: Identifies and manages strategic risks, interfacing with the Gate Readiness Review Committee (GRRC) and the Decision Review Board (DRB).
- Team Responsibilities and Performance: Defines team member responsibilities and monitors individual performance, output quality, and project impact.
- Project Strategy Planning: Leads planning of project strategies, including contracting, risk management, project controls, and execution.
- Project Execution Plan: Drives the development of the Project Execution Plan.
- Variation Order (VO) Management: Procures and negotiates customer VO agreements, updating VO summaries.
- Lessons Learned and Issue Tracking: Maintains a Master Issue’s list, conducts lessons learned reviews, and ensures continuous improvement based on previous project experiences.
- Risk Management: Identifying and managing project risks throughout the entire project life cycle.
- Risk Response Plan and Register: Developing and maintaining a comprehensive risk response plan and register.
- Project Closeout: Implementing the project closeout plan.
- Equipment Disposition and Storage: Developing a plan for final equipment disposition and storage.
- Customer Acceptance Notification: Executing customer acceptance notifications.
- Commercial Performance: Implementing strategies for commercial performance.
- Financial Reviews: Conducting periodic financial reviews.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and testing processes.
- Commercial Acumen: Familiarity with commercial terms and conditions, including associated risks and opportunities.
- Project Management Skills: Proficiency in cost control, risk management, project scheduling, and contract management.
- Execution Plans: Ability to implement product/project execution plans according to relevant policies and procedures.
- Collaboration: Strong team-oriented approach and leadership skills to motivate diverse groups.
- Customer Interaction: Comfortable interacting with external customers and management.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and planning skills.
- Industry Insight: Understanding of maintenance philosophies, offshore logistics, subsea products, and business management tools.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in relevant MS Office applications and awareness of scheduling and ERP software.
