- Responsible for maintaining corporate payroll records.
- Maintains payroll master files.
- Inputs timesheets and processes paychecks.
- Provides payment and filing of FICA, Federal and State taxes biweekly and monthly.
- File monthly, quarterly and yearly payroll tax returns in manual and electronic format.
- Transfer 401 (k) and other benefit information electronically to benefit administrator.
- Create financial management reports relating to payroll and labor distributions.
- Responsible for maintenance of accounts payable records.
- Code and enter data from expense reports and invoices into the system.
- Edit voucher journals prior to posting.
- Generate vendor payment and employee expense reimbursement checks.
- Prepare article reproduction, American Express, telephone reallocation.
- Maintain and reconcile employee receivables.
- Maintain and reconcile employee travel advances.
- File yearly 1099-Miscellaneous forms.
- Responsible for maintenance of general ledger.
- Enter and post adjusting journal entries into system.
- Reconcile subsidiary ledgers to general ledger on a periodic basis.
- 2-4 years' experience working in Payroll/AP Department.
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures.
- Experience with government contracting accounting systems, specifically Deltek.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office.
