The Senior Accountant is a key member of the Accounting team, reporting to the Assistant Controller and working alongside the Accounting and FP&A teams to guide the Company through our month-end close and reporting responsibilities. This position is also focused on supporting our domestic and international tax requirements and requires a detail-oriented professional with a commitment to quality, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines.

What You'll Do:

• Support the accounting team through the month-end close process and related flux analyses
• Oversee ASC 606 revenue recognition processes
• Oversee ASC 842 lease accounting
• Perform bad debt and allowance for doubtful accounts analyses and related journal entries
• Research and analyze general ledger transactions
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain related controls in FloQast
• Collaborate with the Assistant Controller to analyze and recommend improvements to month-end close, financial reporting and accounting policy
• Support various financial statement audits
• Provide coaching to Accounting team members
• Prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Partner with Finance & Accounting colleagues and other constituents around the Company as needed, including reporting needs and other ad hoc projects
• Other duties as assigned

• Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3-5 years of experience in general accounting and financial reporting
• Past or current experience as a Senior Accountant or experienced Accountant with evidence of success in a fast-paced growth company
• Demonstrated ability to apply GAAP accounting practices, including ASC 606
• Ability to effectively business partner and build connections with cross-function teams
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Office, and power user of Excel

• CPA license
• Experience using NetSuite, our accounting ERP
• Big 4 public accounting experience is highly desired
• Experience in a software and/or subscription business
