Administrative Assistant (Anchorage Location)

Alaskan owned Construction/Restoration company that has been serving Alaska for 52 years, has an opening for an experienced, Anchorage-area based Administrative Assistant.

Position Responsibilities:
· Manage incoming messages and resolve issues with answering service.
· Organize company faxes and emails efficiently.
· Greet visitors warmly and direct them accordingly.
· Schedule work orders and distribute necessary supplies.
· Completes general lead information and forwards leads to appropriate staff.
· Assist with databases management and job file creation.
· Receives, sorts and forwards incoming mail.
· Coordinate office supply inventory, including business cards, envelopes, stationary and company work shirts.
· Schedules and coordinate office machine maintenance.
· Ensure emergency on-call schedules are verified and maintained.
· Assist in and acts as a back up for new hire orientations.
· Keep the front office area tidy and organized.
· Collaborate on special projects with different departments.
· Analyze and assemble monthly reports as required.
· Assist Marketing Director on special projects as assigned.
Position Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
· Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Proficiency of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills.
· Strong organizations abilities with a knack for multitasking.
· Ability to work independently or collaboratively as needed.
· Must-pass post offer drug screening (heroin, amphetamines, cocaine, opiates, phencyclidine)
· Must pass post-offer background screening. Due to insurance contract requirements, candidates with felony convictions will not be considered. Any misdemeanor convictions must be discussed with Human Resource Director for contract compliance.
