Position Title: Project Manager

Job Type: Contract-to-Hire

Location: Hybrid (3 Days On-Site; 2 Remote in Norwood)

Overview:

School Outfitters takes pride in our continuous growth and innovation. We are searching for a highly qualified project manager to help us maintain our leadership position in the industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in quickly understanding business unit goals and applying Project Management processes for successful project completion. The project manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of various projects across School Outfitters. The project manager will also prepare and present project updates to all levels of management.

Responsibilities/Duties/Essential Functions/Tasks:

• Build, develop, and lead project teams by providing purpose, direction, and motivation.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders as the day-to-day contact for project status.
• Coordinate internal and external resources as required to ensure that projects comply with scope, schedule, and budget.
• Establish and maintain processes for managing, reporting and adjusting (as required) project scope, schedule, budget, and risks during the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and third-party resources required for project completion.
• Report project status, risks and/or outcomes to management.
• Monitor project progress and escalate project issues and risks as appropriate.
• Actively participate in the development and/or improvement of School Outfitters Project Management processes

Qualifications:

• Four or more years of project management experience on technology projects
• Experience in leading complex Waterfall software projects for maximum impact
• Strong attention to detail, schedule, and budgets
• Proven success working with all levels of management
• Strong interpersonal skills to interface effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Current understanding of available technologies
