Job Summary

The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a team of housekeeping staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train housekeeping staff, ensuring that all employees are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
• Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in good working order
• Respond to guest complaints and requests in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain accurate records of housekeeping activities, including room occupancy and cleaning schedules.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a supervisory role in a hotel housekeeping department
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
