Director of Marketing
T-REX is seeking a dynamic marketer with 7 years experience at early to mid-size B2B tech or SaaS firms, or similar marketing agency experience. Candidates will have had previous roles within marketing and will have led collaborations with outside agencies for digital and campaign work. Other valued areas of experience include: events marketing, PR, brand planning and activations, and digital demand generation.
The Director of Marketing role is accountable for ensuring that T-REX Marketing’s work reflects our enterprise mission, advances our commercial objectives, and aims for ambitious outcomes. The role’s primary responsibility is to lead the planning and orchestration of marketing initiatives by leveraging our ecosystem of marketing talent (e.g. strategists, creatives, PR, agencies), third-party vendors, and in-house SMEs. As the person responsible for integrating a wide variety of talents, plans, work and opinions, the candidate must be a quick study, be decisive and be comfortable leading others in order to meet objectives.
The Director of Marketing is the lead marketer in the organization and will help to establish, then grow, the core methods and practices for marketing at T-REX. The role will actively collaborate with Sales, Product, and Growth teams by providing marketing-led research, data and insights, by developing core communications about T-REX’s products and services, and by creating outbound based collateral and campaigns to support T-REX’s GTM plays. The role will report to the Chief Growth Officer, manage a team, and have a range of vendor, agency and freelance help at the ready.
