System Administrative Services Corporate is Hiring a Vice President of Human Resources Near Atlanta, GA

SUMMARYResponsible for providing executive-level leadership andguidance to CHSGa’s human resource operations. This position is also responsible for planning, organizing, developing,coordinating, directing and evaluating human resources guidelines, programs andpractices in accordance with CHSGa’s mission and applicable federal, state, andlocal laws, standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as directed by theSenior Vice President of Human Resources for CHSGa.

ESSENTIAL DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborates with Senior Vice President of HumanResources and other executive leadership to define the long-term mission andgoals of CHSGa’s workforce.
  • Promotes equal opportunity and diversity,manages labor and employee relations, and re-engineers processes forefficiency.
  • Identifies key performance indicators forCHSGa’s workforce functions; assesses CHSGa’s success and marketcompetitiveness based on these indicators.
  • Develops short and long-term strategies andprograms for assessing and improving CHSGa’s associate experience.
  • Assists CHSGa leadership, as needed, inassessing present and future needs, trends, problems and opportunities forCHSGa’s workforce.
  • Maintains knowledge of federal and state laborlaws, OSHA, EEO, compensation and payout requirements and any other lawsregarding employment.
  • Interprets organizational guidelines,procedures, and laws pertaining to employment and associate relationships.
  • Develops recommendations for revisions toCHSGa’s associate guidelines, procedures, forms and associate handbook; reviewsguidelines at least annually.
  • Provides day-to-day leadership and oversight of Directorsof Human Resources consistent with the mission, vision and values of CHSGa.
  • Investigates associate concerns and mediatesmanagement/associate issues as needed.
  • Reviews and advises on personnel actionsincluding performance adjustments, promotions, transfers, corrective actions,and evaluations.
  • Assists the Compensation Manager with thedevelopment and maintenance of written job descriptions and wage scales inaccordance with applicable state and federal employment laws.
  • Coordinates and assists with administration ofthe CHSGa Compensation Program and other associate rewards and recognitionprograms as directed.
  • Oversees/coordinates general associateorientation and makes suggestions for modifications as needed.
  • Coordinates human resources related associatetraining programs (non-job specific) and provides leadership and support to theorganization’s managers in assessing human resources related trainingneeds.
  • Monitors and provides guidance to ensureperformance evaluation standards are effective and recommends revisions totools and process as needed.
  • Supports recruitment and retention efforts forCHSGa.

MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, BusinessAdministration, or related field required
  • Masters or Law degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in HumanResource Management.
  • Preferred certifications:
o Professionalin Human Resources (PHR)
o Societyof Human Resources Certified Professional (SHRM-CP)
o SeniorProfessional in Human Resources (SPHR)
o Societyof Human Resources Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP)

  • Human Resource Management experience in a healthcareorganization preferred
  • Workday HCM experience preferred
  • Ability to work a demanding, primarilyself-directed work schedule
  • Exceptional organizing and planning skills
  • Ability to lead others in the adoption oftechnology, at a minimum human resource information systems (Workday)
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service,externally and internally as well as maintain customer confidentiality
  • Valid Driver’s License and ability to travelregularly to various locations across the state
