What You’ll Do

As a Data Analyst, you will be part of the Data team supporting multiple business units. Over time, the Data Analyst will become a domain expert for our Business verticals including Parking, Kitchens, Fulfillment and their use cases. This position will work on cutting-edge data technology driving analytics initiatives. You’ll design critical analytical reports and queries to drive strategic business decisions, maintain data between different platforms to ensure data integrity, and support data operations performed by the data engineering and Analytics teams.

Responsibilities will include:
Enhance REEF’s Business Intelligence capabilities
Contribute to building data models for analytics purposes

Maintain and update data between different platforms to ensure data integrity

Support engineering and business teams tasked with manipulation datasets as a subject matter expert

Support initiatives for data normalization and implementing business rules

Create connections between data sets and business tools (e.g., Alteryx, Data Lake, Asana, Tableau etc.)

Join our support desk that serves business units data needs and through coordinating data operations such as data extraction requests, data manipulation, data migration, data modelling, etc.

What We Want From You:

Highly structured thinker with the ability to methodically break down complex issues into various parts, while understanding how those various parts interact

Attention to detail and have an eye/skill to identify data patterns and logics but with the ability to think global and understand the big picture.

Strong quantitative background in data analysis and modeling

Solid editing and researching skills

Analytical and problem-solving experience, exposure to large-scale systems and some experience writing code.

Organized and obsessed with building robust processes and data infrastructures

Strong bias-to-action, as well as a strong sense of practicality and effectiveness

Highly adaptable, and able to thrive in ambiguous or uncertain environments

Good communication skills, able to explain complex situations in a simple way

Good to know experience with ETL tools (Alteryx), Data manipulation tools (SQL), Scripting (Python)

1-3 years of experience in data analytics (preferred)

EDUCATION / SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor Degree in Business, Computer Science or Statistics
• 1-3 years of experience required ideally supporting a large firm
• Familiarity with Excel modeling, analytics software such as Alteryx, and analytics platforms
• Extensive SQL experience
• Prior experience working at fast-growing start-up (preferred)
