We are seeking a highly organized and driven customer service representative to join our growing organization. This position is responsible for processing requests for quotes orders, and lead times from customers. Coordinates with other departments in managing sales orders, provides service and support to customers, along with the Regional Sales Managers.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Process requests for price quotes, purchase orders, status updates and order changes.
• Develops and maintains a proficient rapport with customers to give them the best possible service.
• Provides support for the Regional Sales Manager by preparing reports and distributing delivery schedules through various communications medias.
• Utilizes our ERP system (SAP) to retrieve customer information, inventory status, sales order status, making changes to sales orders and creating invoices.
• Verifies the correct product codes are used for retrieving and inputting information. Process customer orders as received ensuring correct customer and material codes are used.
• Verify Customers tax exempt status and maintain records.
• Process invoicing for daily shipments or pickups, verifying the correct quantities are being invoiced.
• Update shipping log daily with freight cost.
• Confirm all emails are responded to and required documentation is obtained and forwarded to customers in a timely manner.
• Assists plant accountant with accounts receivable and credit hold issues.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Source new customers, gather government requests for quotes, coordinate and complete bid submittals.

Required Knowledge/Experience

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Highly organized/multitasker, works will in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills, team player
• Detailed oriented
• Time management skills
• SAP experience a plus
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
