Job Purpose / Position Summary
The role is responsible for assisting customers and sales representatives on inquires and orders.
Activities include but not limited to: entering and submitting mill claims while keeping the sales rep up to date, answering phone calls and replying to emails in a timely manner, entering orders, returns and credits, offering substitutions for stock out situations, and being able to communicate with customers and sales representatives.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
1. Receive and process customer phone, fax and e-mail orders
2. Data entry
3. Invoicing
4. Advise customers on pricing and inventory
5. Receive customer complaints, including research and corrective action plan
6. Entering returns and credits
7. Attend sales meetings as needed
8. Inbound calls
9. Outbound sales calls to house accounts
10. Offering customers substitutions for stock out situations
Entering and submitting mill claims which includes following up to ensure credit is received. Being the middle person between the mill and the sales representative.
