The Division of Finance & Administration at the State University of New York at Oneonta invites applications for the position of Director of Business Services. Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Finance & Administration, the Director of Business Services will be a part of a collaborative team within the division charged with university financial planning and strategy development.
The Director of Business Services will lead the Business Services team in providing high-quality, customer-focused services. This role will proactively solve problems in a collaborative manner, serve as subject matter expert for all aspects of contract administration, procurement/accounts payable & travel and serve as a critical member of the Finance & Administration team partnering with colleagues across the campus to address overlapping/adjacent areas of responsibility.
The Director of Business Services will ensure compliance with NYS, SUNY and local procurement laws and policies, and interact with all levels of the University as well as SUNY System Administration, SUNY Office of General Counsel, the Office of the New York State Comptroller, and outside vendors.
