Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, scanners and photocopiers.
Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to type, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stoop as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkSome flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the core work hours of Monday, Wednesday and Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. This position will require a normal Saturday rotation for home site.
TravelNo travel required for this position.
Required Education And ExperienceThis position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Education And ExperienceOffice Administration experience, at least one year.

Essential Functions
- Welcome patients and others by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries for location.
- Make patient appointment reminder calls for location.
- Maintain filing systems, pulling charts for following day appointments for location.
- Process incoming patient payments for location.
- Forward information by receiving and distributing communications; collecting and mailing correspondence; copying information for location.
- Monitor and maintain safe reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations for location.
- Maintain and organize front lobby and replenish patient snack area when needed for location.
- Perform various clerical functions.
- Communicate daily to Administrative Supervisor.
- Remain current and assist in maintaining office services by following office operations policies and procedures.
- Attend and participate in relevant continuing education, in-service training to improve professional competency and monthly staff meetings.
- Maintain professional work conduct and ethical confidentiality.
- Perform other related work as required or assigned.
