Suncoast Beverage Sales is Hiring a Human Resources Benefits Administrator Near Fort Myers, FL

JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION: Benefits Administrator / Human Resources Generalist

OVERVIEW: Assume responsibility for benefits administration, maintain knowledge of and adherence to legal requirements and government reporting regulations. Provides diversified administrative and clerical support to the Human Resource Managers. Interacts daily with all levels of employees within the organization.

SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administers employee benefit program to ensure compliance and equity within the organization. Responsibilities include processing enrollments, changes, terminations, compliance with Cobra, Short- and Long-term disability, AFLAC, Health, Dental and Vision, FSA, Dependent Care, and Life Insurance.
  • Assist with annual open enrollment initiatives, prepare, and conduct benefits orientation meetings for new hires and serve as a general resource for benefit-related questions.
  • Ensure benefit charges and changes are entered appropriately in the HRIS system for coverage and deductions.
  • Audit enrollment status to ensure all eligibility requirements are met and maintained.
  • Verify monthly premium statements and reconcile employee contributions to the monthly premiums due.
  • Administer and maintain the FMLA tracking process including any associated leaves, and coordinate with the payroll administrator and time off database as well as any third-party vendors. Collect insurance payments and post accordingly for any employee on FMLA leave.
  • Conduct day-to-day operations of the HR department including employee onboarding, employee off boarding, employee verification, employee training and development, and performance and talent management
  • Develop and maintain reports necessary for operational analysis and any other report pertinent to the department as determined by the Human Resource Manager or Group Vice President.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
  • Provide administrative and clerical support including but not limited to filing, scanning, posting, special projects, memos, and other communications

Job Requirements:

  • PC proficiency, knowledge of Microsoft Office, experience with HRIS software and online platforms are required.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, are necessary.
  • Must have excellent work habits, ability to complete all duties with a high degree of accuracy and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills necessary, including the ability to utilize and integrate data from various sources, accurately interpret data and apply findings.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to work independently
