Come join the dynamic and innovative team at Sullivan County. This is a hybrid position shared between the Department of Corrections and the County Sheriff’s Office with primary secretarial and supportive staff duties. Tasks in the Department of Corrections include assisting the Clinical Program Director and team with correspondence for inmates, clients and outside agencies. The chosen candidate would maintain records of computer emails, certificates, charts and scanned documents for clinical staff, takes notes during program meetings, communicate upcoming goals, deadlines, and make purchase errands for supply needs. Tasks involved at the Sheriff’s Office include helping citizens at the walk-in service window, taking telephone calls, assisting with daily office functions such as the processing of civil service paperwork, confirming transports with both District and Superior Courts and communicating with other county correctional facilities to confirm inmate locations for transport scheduling. The chosen candidate must be able to multi-task as the Sheriff’s Office is an active environment.
Must pass a criminal background investigation.
