Overview:
Ascent Engineering Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our office. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong computer literacy, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general clerical duties, including photocopying, scanning, mailing, and filing
- Assist with data entry and maintaining accurate records
- Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner
- Assist with project coordination and follow-up tasks
- Provide administrative support to various departments as needed
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar healthcare setting is a plus
