The Community Office Manager will oversee the daily operations, vendor relationships, and general maintenance of our facilities. This role includes opening and closing duties, managing office technology, maintaining inventory, and ensuring our community center remains organized and presentable. The manager will act as a key liaison for community members, handling co-working, meeting, and event requests, and supporting community engagement initiatives. Additionally, the role involves administrative support, along with the responsibility of coordinating scheduled events and managing regular maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and dedicated to fostering a welcoming and efficient environment for all SCP community center users.
Core ResponsibilitiesManage site booking inquiry emails and calls.
Manage registration and check-in at community center events.
Support meeting preparation, including food and beverage orders, vendor orders, printing, and material prep.
Serve as an onsite contact for all community events.
Create and manage the community space reservation system.
Organize office operations and procedures, maintain systems (e.g., filing, storage).
Plan and implement office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement.
Design and implement office policies by establishing standards, measuring results, and making necessary adjustments.
Manage all vendors necessary for operations (e.g., landscaping, construction, alarm, internet).
Maintain the supply/inventory management system.
Proactively identify supply needs and establish a recurring system with staff to secure supplies.
Keep conference rooms and common office spaces organized and clean.
Perform spot sweeping, mopping, and cleaning throughout the day.
Serve as a liaison for space reservations and internal SCP communication.
Contribute to community newsletters and attend community events to promote the use of the space
Provide additional administrative support as needed.
Support SCP and partner events.
Education: Associates Degree
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in operations management, facilities management, hospitality, or a similar role.
Skills:
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in office technology and systems (e.g., screen sharing, teleconferencing, WiFi).
Experience with inventory management and vendor coordination.
Ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently.
Familiarity with event planning and community engagement practices.
Attributes:

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected situations.
A friendly and approachable demeanor, with a commitment to providing excellent service to community members.
Other Requirements:
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Basic knowledge of building maintenance and property management is a plus.
Lift and carry up to 60lb
Must have or be able to acquire a valid state driver’s license
Personal vehicle will be required in order to run errands, transport equipment and supplies to and from office, along with other tasks
