Job Title: Business Development Representative

Job Description

The Sales Prospector role is a dynamic opportunity for individuals skilled in client engagement and sales, with a monthly quota to meet. As a Sales Prospector, you'll be pivotal in identifying and qualifying potential customers for our business. This involves proactive prospecting, canvassing, strategic networking, and forging meaningful connections with potential clients that turn into new leads for our sales team.. The ideal candidate possesses outstanding communication, time management, tenacity, and research abilities, essential for excelling in this role.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring an exceptional client experience from the initial point of contact
  • Promote Stinson Services' diverse range of products and services to both prospective and existing clients.
  • Take a leading role in showcasing Stinson Services within the community through cold calling, prospecting and door-to-door outreach, enlightening the neighborhoods and property owners we serve about the exceptional offerings and benefits provided by Stinson Services Inc..
  • Utilize a customer-centric approach to assess the needs of homeowners, insurance agents and facilities engineers identifying potential opportunities for our services.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions, feedback, and appointments scheduled.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in generating high-quality leads.
  • Participate in training and team meetings to enhance product knowledge and improve sales strategies.
  • Utilize Salesforce and other technologies for accurate and up-to-date documentation of sales activities on a daily basis.
  • Consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly qualified lead quotas.
  • Maintain clear and timely communication with both Stinson Services clients and internal office personnel.
  • Participate actively in networking groups such as BNI, Chamber of Commerce, or initiate relevant networking opportunities.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to implement and provide feedback on current marketing strategies.
  • Run sales appointments and/or adjuster meetings for Sales Reps when demand dictates
  • Demonstrate responsiveness by returning phone calls within 24 hours.
  • Be willing to travel to various storm locations outside of the Twin Cities area.
  • Sales Prospector works Tuesday – Saturday from 10:00am to 8:00 pm. Under normal conditions a 40 hr work week during prime season (April through November). Work a minimum of three Saturdays per month during prime season. December - March = three day work weeks from 12:00am - 6:00pm.

Required Education and Experience

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with PC-Based MS Office or Google Applications, Email, Internet Browsers
  • Proficiency with (or willingness to learn) Salesforce
  • Must have excellent time management skills
  • Must provide personal transportation
  • Must be neat and clean in Stinson Services uniform when working with Stinson Services clients
  • Must be professional and in line with the Stinson Services Value Proposition
  • Organized highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to speak publicly with confidence and poise
  • Ambitious, self-motivated and self-disciplined
  • Works well individually and in a team environment
  • Natural extrovert who thrives in social settings
  • Previous sales experience is preferred
  • BA / BS preferred

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
