Position Overview:
The Director of Business Operations will be responsible for overseeing all operational functions at our client's Orlando headquarters and remotely managing operations at their California distribution center. Reporting directly to the President, the Director will play a pivotal role in financial management, forecasting, HR, and operational efficiency.
Our client is an industry leading distributor of sporting goods, utilizing patented designs and led by a state-of-the-art manufacturing operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management: Direct and lead financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and planning. Serve as the primary financial liaison to our client’s overseas headquarters. Supply financial data to their accounting firm and assist with annual audits.
Inventory and Production: Assist the forecasting and production manager with inventory planning and product ordering to ensure optimal stock levels and timely delivery.
Accounting and Payroll: Oversee all accounting functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll. Directly responsible for handling payroll and supporting the staff accountant.
Legal and Compliance: Manage business licenses and building leases. Maintain strong relationships with legal counsel and accounting firm to ensure compliance with regulations.
HR Management: Serve as the main point of contact and liaison between the company and our HR partner. Act as the face of HR and the primary HR contact for employees.
IT Support: Act as the main point of contact for IT partner and collaborate with them to address any technical issues or future expansion projects.
Project Management: Complete projects and assignments as directed by the President and corporate headquarters in a timely manner.
