Part-Time PTA (Physical Therapist Assistant)

Description :
The Part-Time Physical Therapist Assistant will provide assistance to patients in completing their treatment plans and engaging in therapeutic activities.
This includes administering manual physical exercises, guiding and supporting patients in non-manual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, and daily-living activities.
The PTA will also apply assistive and supportive quality care. Additionally, the PTA will assess and interpret evaluations and test results, collaborate with physicians in developing treatment plans, and document patient care services in compliance with legal and professional requirements.
Key responsibilities include :
- Conducting follow-up visits for home health orthopedic patients
- Maintaining eligibility requirements for home health services
- Providing maintenance therapy
- Driving as required
Qualifications :
Completion of an accredited Assistant Therapy Assistant Program
Must hold a valid California state licensure
At least 1 year of experience as a physical therapist assistant in a home health setting
Demonstrated strong caring interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license and clean DMV record
