POSITION OVERVIEW

SteerBridge seeks a Defense Communications Operations Manager to provide management, direction, administration, quality assurance, and leadership during execution of contact center engineering and service delivery.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Minimum Security Clearance – Secret
• Ability to work on occasion in Louisville, KY.

EDUCATION

Minimum high school diploma, Bachelor’s degree preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Help Desk operations with heavy emphasis in customer service.
• 3 years of experience in a role that demonstrates experience and knowledge in DoD benefits and personnel data processes.
• Exceptional interpersonal, customer service, problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to travel on occasion to Louisville, KY.

SKILLS

Candidates must bring demonstrated skills/experience in:

• Network Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of the Defense Switched Network, ensuring its reliability, security, and performance meet the operational needs of military personnel.
• Infrastructure Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the DSN infrastructure, including switches, routers, and other network components, to ensure optimal functionality.
• Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Lead efforts to troubleshoot network issues and resolve technical problems promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions to communication services.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of service delivery and ensure compliance with military regulations and protocols.
• Capacity Planning: Monitor network usage and capacity to anticipate future needs and plan for upgrades or expansions as necessary to support operational requirements.
