DSHS DDA Administrative Assistant 5

The Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) is looking for an Administrative Assistant 5 to join their team in the Office of Assistant Secretary. You will join the DDA Division of Innovation and Transitional Care Management. You will serve as the principal assistant in administrative, policy, and program development for DDA. This position provides confidential administration support, confidential correspondence, office operations, calendar maintenance, and travel arrangements.

Some of what you’ll do:

  • Draft professional correspondence
  • Provide oversight and training of Administrative Assistants
  • Coordinate and lead projects, track project deliverable progress and work group progress
  • Assign and prioritize projects to other staff
  • Manage the development and finalization of complex documents, presentations, and reports intended for diverse audiences
  • Manage confidential data regarding clients and employees
  • Prepare and track documents for signature
  • Track and control documents to ensure accuracy
  • Provide high level administrative support with delegated management, coordination, implementation, and oversight of various databases, reporting systems, equipment inventory, and operation processes
Who should apply:
Professionals with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, or closely allied field and three years of administrative or supervisory experience

OR

One year of experience as an Administrative Assistant 4

OR

Two years of experience as an Administrative Assistant 3

Additional qualifying experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.
Graduate study may substitute for up to two years of experience on a year-for-year basis.
