We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various HR functions and possess knowledge of HRIS systems and workforce management tools.

Responsibilities:

• Identify the company's hiring needs and manage the recruitment & onboarding process
• Experience with ADP HRIS database. Ensure all employee records are maintained and updates as required across all databases
• Create, implement and evaluate all Human Resource department policies and procedures
• Manage all company benefit programs. Must have experience with Health & Welfare, 401k, disability and FMLA leave.
• Respond to employees' queries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
• Support employee relations initiatives
• Assist departmental leaders in completing annual performance reviews
• Responsible for managing departmental budgets
• Manage HR contracts and agreements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field
• Proven experience in HR functions such as talent acquisition, employee relations and workforce management. Experience in the trucking/logistics industry a plus
• Familiarity with ADP and other relevant software applications a must
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with applicant tracking systems
• Knowledge of Human Resources best practices and compliance standards
