Hiring a State Farm Insurance Agent Customer Service Representative/Agent Team Member

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish and build insurance customer relationships and follow up with insurance customers, as needed.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly insurance customer service. Insurance service can include responding to insurance inquiries regarding insurance availability, insurance eligibility, insurance coverages, insurance policy changes, insurance claim submissions, and insurance billing clarification.
  • Use an insurance customer-focused, needs-based insurance review process to educate customers about insurance options.
  • Network to develop new prospective insurance customers is a variety of ways

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and listening - Strong work ethics - Reliable - Coachable - Positive attitude - problem solving skills - team player
  • Experience in Windows computer applications and Salesforce
  • Property & Casualty and Life and Health Licenses required - or ability to obtain asap
  • Reside near our Chicago (north side) neighborhood

Note: This opportunity and position is with a local Chicago State Farm Agent's office, not State Farm Companies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus opportunities

Weekly day range:

  • Monday to Friday
