We are looking for a hybrid Senior Financial Analyst in Chicago near the O'Hare airport!
In this newly-created role, you'll work with a large equipment manufacturer. You'll work on different projects such as accounting for new product launches, month-end close, calculating commissions, P&L, balance sheets, automating processes, working on new business outlooks and the business plan.
This position is with a large, stable company that treats its employees very well. It's part of a team that is super engaged, likes to have fun, and has a lot of room for growth. This position is onsite 3 days a week and remote 2.
Job Overview:
- Prepare monthly financial reporting package, including cost variances
- Manage the monthly close process, including revenue recognition, COGs, deferred revenue, warranty accrual, account receivable, cash account, & inventory balance
- Prepare Journal entries
- Complete account reconciliation
- Develop the budget and outlook
- Complete the financial planning and analysis for the annual business plan and quarterly outlooks
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 2 years professional experience
- Able to work onsite 3 days a week
- Experience with BPC, Power BI, SAP (COPA data, KE24), SQL, or Planatir a plus
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables)
