- Execute financial and operational analyses for Garrett Popcorn Shops in the Domestic and International businesses; for example:
- Analyze financial variances against budget, forecast, and prior year actual performance
- Produce product mix reporting, and update on a regular cadence in order to manage any significant changes in the business
- Develop reports to plan promotions and then summarize the corresponding performance
- Review operational performance with the goal of optimizing production, waste and manpower at Garrett Popcorn Shops globally
- Partner with cross functional teams to assess performance of new marketing or product initiatives by performing thorough financial analysis
- Analyze market opportunities and assist in creating strategies for new lines of growth that will drive revenue and manage costs (i.e., promotional/marketing offers, new business channels, etc.)
- Prepare financial reporting package for senior management team encompassing financial statement, analysis reports, and KPI dashboards
- Assist with ad-hoc projects to support company’s continued growth
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance
- 3-5 years’ experience in finance or accounting role
- Detailed understanding of fundamental business economics – profitability and operational efficiency
- Ability to leverage data to drive strategic insights and make actionable, results oriented recommendations through complex financial models while maintaining "big picture" focus
- Advanced analytics (Excel) and presentation (PowerPoint) skills with ability to communicate findings in a clear concise manner to project stakeholders and executive stakeholders
- Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to quick turnaround time in rapidly changing environment
- Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with all levels of management
- Strong discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
