St. Ambrose University is seeking an Administrative Assistant to assist with the office administration and communication functions of the College of Business and McMullen Hall. For this position, this individual will be responsive, flexible, organized, self-motivated, and detail oriented in supporting all functions of the College of Business and be a team player. Additionally, this position provides direct support to the Associate Provost and Acting Dean of the College of Business. This position will assist in the development of college spirit through creative interaction among students, staff, faculty, and members of the local community. The position will also manage and oversee events, conferences, and workshops in McMullen Hall. This may include problem-solving, welcoming guests, directing event set-up, communicating with faculty, staff, and organizing vendors, and managing take-down. This position supervises student worker(s) and guides the College of Business Student Ambassadors' activities. This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree or 4 years of experience in a related field. Proficient use of Microsoft Office and experience with Ellucian or other campus administrative systems is desired.
