Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to join our team. As an Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office. You will be responsible for performing various administrative tasks, providing support to staff members, and maintaining an efficient office environment.
Duties:
- Perform general administrative duties such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling correspondence
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Assist with data entry and order entry tasks
- Manage calendars and schedule appointments
- Coordinate and assist with event planning and preparation
- Conduct research and gather information as needed
- Assist with proofreading documents for accuracy and clarity
- Maintain filing systems and ensure documents are properly organized
- Provide support to staff members as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience working in an office environment is preferred
- Proficient in using computerized systems for data entry and administrative tasks
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle phone calls professionally
