Key Responsibilities:

• 📝 Conduct intake, tracking, investigation, and resolution of team member issues, while ensuring fairness and legal compliance.
• 🤝 Provide coaching and counseling to relevant parties based on investigation findings.
• 📋 Assist in documenting and reviewing disciplinary actions, in coordination with management.
• 🏢 Conduct onsite HR and risk assessments, summarizing results and ensuring follow-up.
• 📢 Keep leadership informed of HR policies and changes in employment law.
• 📚 Coordinate compliance with federal and state-specific training requirements.
• 💼 Manage worker's compensation claims and coordinate return-to-work processes.
• 🤝 Provide mentorship to HR coordinator and assist in administration of job-protected absences.
• 🚪 Conduct exit interviews for voluntary management terminations.
• 💼 Manage unemployment claims and ensure compliance with E-verify.
• 🔍 Oversee Focal Point Reviews and complete voluntary employment surveys.
• 📌 Ensure up-to-date postings of federal, state, and local employment materials.

Requirements:

• 🎓 Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience.
• 📚 Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
• 📜 Knowledge of federal and state-specific employment laws.
• 🏥 Experience managing leaves of absence and familiarity with paid time off laws.
• 🏨 Previous experience in multi-site/multi-state HR experience required in Texas and California.
• 🎯 Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills.
• 💻 Proficiency in HRIS technology and intermediate Excel skills.
• ✈️ Some travel may be required.
• 🗣️ Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred.
