Solar Topps is seeking to hire for a permanent full time position for a Solar Technical Support Specialist in our Phoenix location.

We are seeking an experienced Customer Support Manager with a background in the electrical, solar, or similar trades to lead our team of customer support specialists. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of electrical systems and solar energy technologies, as well as proven leadership and team management skills. This position offers a competitive hourly rate ranging between $24 and $26 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Compensation and Benefits

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of customer support specialists, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Develop and implement customer support strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the customer support team, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and addressing escalated issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Project Management, Electrical Engineering, Install, and Field Service, to resolve complex customer issues and improve overall customer experience.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and training to team members.
• Analyze customer support metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous enhancement of support processes.
• Serve as a point of escalation for challenging customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolutions.

Skills Required

• Proven experience in a customer support role within the electrical, solar, or similar trades.
• Previous experience in a leadership or management role, preferably managing a team of customer support specialists.
• Strong technical aptitude and understanding of electrical systems and solar energy technologies. (REQUIRED)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• Proficiency in CRM software and other customer support tools.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred

• Previous experience in a similar trade.
• Previous customer service or administrative assistant experience.
