Individual Responsibility:
  • Directs the development of company market requirements for specific product(s) or product line(s), including product strategy definition, requirements analysis, and pricing.
  • Be the product/market subject matter expert, gain an in-depth understanding of customer applications and use cases, and be able to create marketing collateral and presentations that will drive design wins and future growth
  • Help build and maintain market models, go-to-market plans, and future technology roadmaps
Outbound and Engagement:
  • Engage and drive Market and Technology, Sensing, through Customer meetings, Secondary Research, and other industry contacts related to Energy Storage solutions
  • Communicate with customers in all project stages to identify product gaps and forecast new requirements.
  • Streamline business processes to support consistency and efficiency through rapid enterprise growth.
  • Collaborate with company officers and leadership teams to develop and prioritize strategic objectives.
  • Support Sales & Customers with Roadmap/Market updates, technology trends, and responses to RFIs/RFPs, product, and pricing requests
  • Create and drive product promotion and marketing strategies for the US market (direct and indirect)
Business Planning:
  • Build/Drive customer/account, market segment, product, & go to market strategies for energy storage solutions
  • Develop budgets, sales forecasts, sales & marketing expenses, and profitability goals. Track the progress of each portfolio (P&L) and product against the target. Accountability to product P&L. Responsible for ensuring programs are being implemented within regulatory policies and requirements (specific for each state).
  • Become a key stakeholder/influencer for future product development and roadmap alignment for US market segments and customers
  • Work with technical teams on future products and technologies and solidify plans with business cases, value propositions, and go-to-market plans
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S. in science, engineering, or technical marketing a plus, but B.A. acceptable)
  • Minimum of 7 years of work experience in a B2B, OEM, distribution product marketing role in the solar, wind, battery, generator, energy storage (ESS), EV, or renewable sectors
  • A big plus for understanding Micro Grids; Mobile ESS; Charging infrastructure
  • Proven experience as a Product Marketing Manager, Brand Manager, or similar role
  • Comfortable working in a startup environment, with its fast pace, shifting priorities, and fluid nature
