Location: We are seeking an Accounting Manager for the Nashville Airport to support our four restaurant concepts, Voodoo Donuts, Kitty Hawk Eat & Drink, Titans Press Box and Retail Shop.

Principal Function:

The Accounting Manager will support the financial affairs of their assigned business unit, with guidance from the Corporate Office, Unit Controller and Regional Controller.

The Accounting Manager will partner closely with the Payroll and HR departments in addition to tasks and responsibilities related to accounts payable and receivable, tax and compliance, and financial analysis and reporting.

The Accounting Manager will partner with the operations team and other department heads to ensure the financial performance of the units and that Sodexo Live! standards for accuracy, efficiency and quality are upheld.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions
• Count and verify cash received, ensuring accuracy and completeness of transactions
• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

• Maintain accurate records of all cash transactions in the accounting system.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
• 3-5 years of experience in a financial reporting and accounting industry
• Previous Accounting / Retail Revenue experience within a food service environment is a plus
• Exceptional computer literacy with EXCEL/ACCESS and Microsoft Office Suite software
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles, to
• Self-starter who can work independently and on several tasks/projects simultaneously, and who can contribute to functional areas of the business outside of the finance area.
• Initiative in identifying and resolving problems timely and effectively.

Other Requirements:

• Able to work effectively and safely while subject to wet floors, temperature extremes and excessive noise; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds in weight; must be able to maneuver in an often tightly-quartered environment.
