Overview

Join our team as a Senior Manager, Accounting in this exciting fully remote position based in the U.S., offering you the flexibility to work from home. As a key player in our global financial team, you'll take the lead in overseeing worldwide consolidation, handling elimination entries, and managing foreign currency translation. Dive into challenging and stimulating U.S. accounting tasks, including stock compensation, leases, revenue recognition, and acquisitions. Your role extends beyond numbers – you'll be at the forefront of shaping and mentoring a talented US/International team of 3 accounting managers and 9 senior accountants. Responsibilities

  • Lead training and development for a US/International team of 3 accounting managers and 9 senior accountants.
  • Oversee monthly close process to ensure timely issuance of financial statements and metrics.
  • Responsible for the accuracy of global consolidated financial statements including stock compensation accounting (ASC718), lease accounting (ASC842), revenue recognition (ASC606), fixed assets (ASC360), internal use software (ASC340-40) and acquisitions (ASC805) for Global operations.
  • Assess the impact of new accounting guidance (ASU’s) on company procedures.
  • Collaborate with FP&A to assist in budgeting and forecasting for various P&L line items.
  • Review and approval of complex journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Ensure all financial controls are performed and all procedures are followed in accordance with company's narratives and accounting policies.
  • Implement best practices, drive continuous improvement and proactively recommend more efficient solutions.
  • Ensure that auditor requests are provided in a timely manner, and that follow-up items are quickly addressed to ensure the audit engagement/report are completed on time.
  • Draft technical accounting memos in accordance with US GAAP and SEC standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Highly detail and deadline oriented.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA license required.
  • Big 4 Public Accounting experience required.
  • At least 8 years accounting experience, with at least 4 years people management experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft D365 preferred.
  • Experience with BlackLine (Recons, Tasks, Journals, Matching) preferred.
  • Advanced Word, PowerPoint, Excel Pivots, V-lookups, graphs).
