We’re looking for a Revenue Strategy Manager to join Team Snapchat! The mission of the Revenue Strategy group is to provide accurate and thoughtful insights for a dynamic and growth-driven advertising business. Working from our New York office you will be a trusted partner to Leadership – through strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration and operational excellence. You’ll partner with Sales and cross-functional teams (i.e. Product Marketing, Finance, etc.) to expand and optimize our Ad Sales Modeling, analytics and reporting efforts.
What you'll do:
  • Develop relevant financial reporting, analysis, insights, and recommendations
  • Develop compelling narratives using data that effectively communicates the state of the business
  • End to end ownership of OKRs for your area of expertise and direct reports, successfully communicate goals, keep the team focused, and achieve results.
  • Independently represent Revenue Strategy in complex cross-functional and Leadership discussions
  • Lead quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning processes
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects with Sales, Finance, Accounting, Operations, and Product teams
  • Lead development of revenue reporting infrastructure to support streamlining and automation of workflows
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly advertising performance and forecast support
  • Provide weekly ad pacing reports for visibility on actuals vs. forecasts
  • Create post-monthly variance analysis to identify ad revenue performance
  • Develop various ad hoc analyses and presentations for the Board and executive teams
Minimum Qualifications:
  • BA, BS, or MBA degree in Accounting, Finance, or related
  • 5 years of work experience in advertising, media/entertainment or finance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2 years of experience managing a team
  • Familiarity with time-series and forecasting methods
  • Familiarity with SQL, Python, Looker, BigQuery, Salesforce
  • Someone who is self-directed, proactive, and sets a high bar for themselves and their team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and feels comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization
  • Exceptional analytical, problem solving, and Excel skills
  • An ability to build strong partnerships with fellow leaders and senior executives
  • Strong people management and coaching skills
  • Can multi-task, think creatively, and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • A detail-oriented person who has a high sense of urgency and exceptional organizational/project managing skills
Compensation:
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
  • Zone A (CA, WA, NYC)
    : The base salary range for this position is $145,000 - $210,000 annually
  • Zone B
    : The base salary range for this position is $138,000 - $200,000 annually
  • Zone C
    : The base salary range for this position is $123,000 - $179,000 annually
This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs
