Manufacturing Maintenance Manager

The Manufacturing Maintenance Manager will oversee the reliable operation, maintenance, repair of all production machinery, building and offices. The main duties include monitor maintenance, repair of production machinery; designing maintenance procedures, tracking budget and expenses while performing inspections on the premises to find problems and/or make repairs. They will work closely with other technicians to ensure that production machinery and facilities are always functioning properly. May include the creation of new products either from raw materials or by assembling different components through physical or mechanical means. This position will work in our Fort Worth, TX facility. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure operational efficiency of all production machinery and equipment including electrical, PLC, and mechanical systems through timely inspection and repair 
• Train and supervise employees of the maintenance department
• Negotiate contracts with outside vendors for execution of maintenance work
• Ensure that company premises and facilities are kept in clean and hygienic condition 
• Implement workplace safety and standards by ensuring health and safety policies are complied with
• Ensure that designated buildings, plant, and facilities are fit for purpose and to provide proactive support/solutions when required
• Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary

Skills and Qualifications:

• Formal education in mechanical engineering, robotics or machine controls, administration, facility management, or equivalent experience
• Minimum experience of 2 years in a supervisory role
• Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
• Familiarity in drafting and understanding blueprints and schematics
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making
• Excellent leadership and management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
