Our firm is hiring an associate litigation attorney with at least 4 years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience, who will support our clients by zealously representing them in litigation. Compensation:$125,000 base salary per case commissions
Responsibilities:- Review client issues on legal matters, analyze available options, and diligently work to determine the best course of action
- Attend court hearings or other legal proceedings, perform legal research, and work with senior associate attorneys to provide legal advice
- Organize and maintain files to ensure accuracy for other attorneys, paralegals, and staff
- Draft documents such as correspondence, pleadings, motions, briefs, affidavits, settlement agreements, and contracts to be used proceedings and contract negotiations
- Communicate with senior associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently
- Attend hearings, mediations, arbitration and depositions
- Effective communication skills and problem-solving skills are necessary to work with all levels of staff and clients
- Has a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school
- Applicants must have successfully passed the state bar exam
- Ability to work with senior attorneys to best serve client needs and grow our client base
- Florida Bar license
