Sky Law Firm, P.A. is Hiring a Litigation Attorney Near Fort Lauderdale, FL

Our firm is hiring an associate litigation attorney with at least 4 years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience, who will support our clients by zealously representing them in litigation. The ideal candidate has courtroom experience and can take depositions, argue motions, and take cases to trial, as needed. If you’re ready to jump-start your career reach out to us today!

Compensation:

$125,000 base salary per case commissions

Responsibilities:
  • Review client issues on legal matters, analyze available options, and diligently work to determine the best course of action
  • Attend court hearings or other legal proceedings, perform legal research, and work with senior associate attorneys to provide legal advice
  • Organize and maintain files to ensure accuracy for other attorneys, paralegals, and staff
  • Draft documents such as correspondence, pleadings, motions, briefs, affidavits, settlement agreements, and contracts to be used proceedings and contract negotiations
  • Communicate with senior associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently
  • Attend hearings, mediations, arbitration and depositions
Qualifications:
  • Effective communication skills and problem-solving skills are necessary to work with all levels of staff and clients
  • Has a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school
  • Applicants must have successfully passed the state bar exam
  • Ability to work with senior attorneys to best serve client needs and grow our client base
  • Florida Bar license
