Our highly regarded Florida law firm is seeking an emerging Attorney to join our litigation team. We are in search of a candidate who has a solid understanding of the litigation process, and a desire to further their career. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills while maintaining a client-focused approach to their cases. As an integral member of our litigation team, you will have the opportunity to manage all aspects of litigation in a broad spectrum of matters. The attorney for this position should be able to manage their own cases. But our partners are always available for guidance and mentorship.

Qualifications:

• 4 years of litigation experience (our firm has many practice areas)
• Proficiency in drafting briefs, pleadings, motions, and written discovery
• Experience handling multiple cases independently, while collaborating on cases in a team setting
• Exceptional skills with written and oral arguments 
• Active membership with the FL state bar
• Motivated to learn and grow

Responsibilities:

• Propounding and responding to discovery
• Take and defend depositions and attend court hearings 
• Trial preparation and active participation in trials alongside senior attorneys
• Attend mediations, active participation in negotiating settlements
• Manage your own cases
