Description
Are you a seasoned HR professional who is thoughtful, innovative, energetic and a multi-tasker? Are you interested in supporting all functions within HR, collaborating with leadership, and build a trusting and meaningful relationship with the employees? You will partner with the VP of HR, and provide support across all levels of the organization. You’ll handle complex topics, multiple projects, and be responsible for a wide range of duties.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Support all areas within HR, including but not limited to: benefits, leave of absences, compensation, employee engagement and culture, recruiting, payroll, data management, reporting and employee performance.
· Regularly meet with various leadership to develop trust, alignment and planning opportunities
· Interact with employees daily to answer all questions, follow up on inquiries, or investigate more complex matters
· Oversee all matters of recruiting, managing 5-8 positions at a time (from start to finish)
· Maintain processes, policies and the company handbook
· Oversee direct contact with the benefit vendors and broker
· Support all employee relation topics, investigations and other performance related topics
· Provide back-up support to Payroll & data management/reporting
Requirements
Job Qualifications:
· Bachelors degree is strongly preferred, with at least 5 years of experience in all (or most) of HR functional areas
· Experience in a manufacturing, engineering or hourly environment is preferred
· Previous experience running payroll, pulling reports, entering data into various systems, etc.
· Passionate about creating trusting and positive relationships with the workforce
· Proven track record of handling difficult employee issues; resolving conflicts, and challenges
· Oversee open enrollment and all benefit related topics
· Manage all recruiting activities, including posting positions, interviewing, providing offers, etc.
· Be a trusted partner within the HR team; managing many complex topics with the VP of HR
· Must be professional, detail oriented, and be able to work in a very fast environment
· Be able to create order, process and policies to outdated or blank topics
· Previous experience in a start-up and/or small company is a plus
· Previous experience and examples surrounding difficult demands, agile thinking and flexibility in operating.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Other duties as assigned
Pay Transparency Act: $75,000.00 dependent on education, experience and expertise
