Resource Coordinator
Responsible for coordinating and providing training on evidence-based resuscitation standards for all Sinai Health System employees. Provides a professional, creative, energetic, and through training experience for attendees. Investigates available training methods and procedures to determine the most effective and efficient manner in which to conduct training programs.
MINIMUM EDUCATION :
•Graduation from an accredited program in Respiratory Care, Medical Assistant, Nursing or Emergency Medical Technician.
•Bachelor's degree preferred.
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE: •Minimum of two years clinical experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
•Ability to assume leadership role.
•Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
•Demonstrated interpersonal relationships in a manner that enhances communication, promotes conflict resolution and facilitates staff development.
REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS :
•American Heart Association (AHA) certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers required.
•A minimum of one of the following instructor certifications required at time of hire: AHA - BLS Instructor, AHA - ACLS Instructor, AHA - PALS Instructor, NRP Instructor. Remaining instructor certifications required as incumbent as eligible.
•Professional certification as a respiratory therapist, medical assistant, nurse or emergency medical technician.
•Licensure as applicable to clinical certification
