Shopoff Realty Investments is Hiring a Development Manager Near Irvine, CA
- Oversee processing of land use entitlements through to the required approvals.
- Participate in the selection of the project consulting team. Solicit and review proposals and make recommendations for selection of consultants.
- Prepare and monitor budgets for conducting due diligence and entitlement processing.
- Establish project schedules and action lists for the processing of development applications.
- Attend meetings with consultants, government officials and staff to assist in processing of entitlements.
- Prepare agendas for team meetings, presentations before approving entities and maintain a communication system amongst the development team members to streamline the entitlement process.
- Assist the acquisition team in the analysis and due diligence examination of prospective projects.
- Assist the acquisitions team, as needed, during the escrow closing and acquisition process.
- Assist in the preparation of sales packages as well as to serve as the project technical point of information for the benefit of the sale effort.
- Review and provide write up related to market data research and comparable analysis received from 3rd party vendors.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Two plus years of residential land development experience for a land development or home building company.
- Must be detail oriented and self-motivated and able to assemble and manage a development team to maximize project yield both physically and profitably.
- Excellent computer skills with specific experience in MS applications such as Excel, Word, and Publisher required. Microsoft Project, Argus, and Lotus Notes are beneficial.
- Highly motivated and self-directed analytical thinker
- Practiced at developing a variety of strategic financial analyses
- Able to learn new concepts quickly, displays attention to accuracy and detail, and resolves challenges with minimal supervision
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
